I recall someone was working with 3DS on TV's "Timetrax". Also, taken from Gary's Saturday message #162226 3D Studio … …in a feature film to do full-screen effects. Six minutes of (said) effects will be in Johnny Mnemonic, coming from TriStar/Sony in June. 3DS is used by some of the largest 3D animation production houses in Los Angeles, including Metrolight, R/Greenburg Assoc., Boss Films, RezN8, and Sony Pictures.

Yes, I have used 3DSTUDIO for opening animations and title sequences for several TV programs.
