That is a great idea we will try to get these function calls put into dust.
Dust is still a baby, and has great potential too be a full grown up in the
next few months. We're thinking of joinig Python and Dust together so the user
can define the particle's flow path along a lofted object. This and what you
have mentioned would bring dust to a higher state. Please keep in touch and
priivate E-Mail me and we will let you beta test it too the full extream.

Much needed I think, of these kinds of effects I've used Magic so often that it
has paid for itself many many times over, but I don't want these kinds of
effects to get stale and there are at least an equal number of times when I
could have used some "Sparkle Dust". The only way I've found to do something
similar is to use explode on a number of spheres, which is o.k. but it doesn't
have decay and doesn't provide the random motion of particles.

Interesting idea. I think for more technical applications to show flow of
liquids it could be pretty useful. If you could specify the density of
particles it might prove to be an interesting effect also. Especially if it had
decay as well. I'd be inclined to keep the two ideas seperate but that's up to
you.
I will contact you shortly so that we may pursue the development of these
ideas. I'm really excited about the prospect of being able to generate a
"Sparkle Dust" effect. (I'd like to call it "Magic Dust" but that might confuse
the products with regard to "Magic". Lets see what you and other's think about
that.)
