I'm hoping somebody has a clue.
I'm running 3DS-R1. It suddenly became killer slow. Minutes to load. Many
minutes to draw the 3D editor screen after loading.
I even went so far as to deltree and then reinstall _on a different physical
hard drive_.
I have 20 meg now, not 8. I may have made some other memory management changes,
but I can not trace down anything or remeber when/what this all started.
Something like 100Meg free disk space.
If you have any ideas what may be going on, please help.

Load times can be affected by your memory manager configuration. Try removing
those lines entirely from your config.sys. Then start 3D Studio and see if the
load time changes. If it does, you might want to experiment with the different
options on the memory manager line, as well as different versions of the memory
managers.
