I'd like to know the cost for getting my 3D Studio animations to tape with
decent quality. Right now we're just playing back the flics and recording them
on VHS with an AverKey. So how much does the BCD PAR cost, or what else should
we be looking at? Also, for basic editing with a few bells and whistles, should
we be looking at RazorPro? How much extra does that cost?
If you're quoting prices to me, it would be helpful if you state whether they
are in U.S. or Canadian dollars.
Well first of all the PAR is not from BCD but from DPS.
US dollars
PAR prices: +/- 1.995 but sometimes lower 1795 etc…. (NTSC)
Capture card: +/- 999 but sometimes lower 899 etc… (NTSC)
Razor Pro: +/- 750 (andf for using that you will best buy a good soundcard.
