Sorry to bug you, but I was told that I could configure both mouse & Wacom tablet, and switch back and forth within 3DS. I tried this last week, and I could switch from mouse to tablet *once*, …after that, the s/w reports "can't find that driver" when trying to switch back to the tablet. Also, the tablet operation was very quirky using either normal or pressure stylus. Any ideas ? Maybe there's a newer/better driver ? I set this up with the tablet as default in 3DS.set, configured the 3dadi.cfg for the tablet/stylus using Polled/Absolute. It's interesting, because even though it says the driver gets "lost", the program's able to beep the tablet on exiting the program. Thanks, BILL

"I was told that I could configure both mouse & Wacom tablet, and switch back and forth within 3DS" – I've never tried this. I use a mouse, but will rig up a digitizer and let you know what happens. I'd expect that you should be able to do this.

Thanks Nik, and please let me know. I can't see using MeshPaint without a tablet. But I *can't* see running 3DS without a mouse <g>. BILL

Bill, I've not been successful with my experimentation. I was able to "fail" with both the WACOM and SUMMA that I have; they both could run, then I could switch to mouse, then I couldn't get back into mouse. I have left a message for QA to help on this, but I'm out of the office almost immediately – for a week. I may not be able to get back to you till then.
