#AA.MU not found
3 messages in this thread
I bought a new (second) hard drive recently, and reorganized everything.
Now, when I start AAPRO I get a message saying AA.MU can't be found in the
RESOURCE directory, which must be a subdirectory of the directory in which
AAPro is installed. But it's there.
I've reinstalled twice, to no avail.
Possible factor: the drive on which AA is installed is STACed, and SSWAPed
(for you Stacker fans). But the volume on which it was previously installed
was (I think) similarly configured.
Any ideas?
Howard, that message usually happens when AA Pro can't find enough memory
to load its menus. Check your environment to make sure Phar Lap can grab
everything you've got.

Yep. I solved the problem even before I logged on to find your message
here. In going through all of the things I had done in addition to
installing the new drive, I noticed that for no particular reason, I'd
installed the Norton Cache. Today I disabled it, and I'm back animating.
(The message is a bit misleading, however, since the installation guide
also refers separately to an "insufficient memory" message.)
Thanks for the quick reply; back to animating.
