Greetings everyone, This is Brandon Bartlett with DesignTec in Albertville, Alabama. We need your assistance in compiling a listing of legal cases in which computer animation was utilized. This list, once sufficient entries are compiled, will be uploaded to one of the AMMEDIA (formerly ASOFT) forum libraries for everyone's reference and benefit. This list will continue to be updated periodically as time goes by and more cases hit the books. We would appreciate everyone's assistance in compiling a complete and accurate reference list. Please submit information you have on court cases which used animation in the following format. If you do not have all of the info, please submit as much as you know. Send all submissions via e-mail to Brandon Bartlett, CIS: 74644,3053. 1. Complete Case Title 2. State, Court and Case Number 3. Judgement, Amount (if applicable), and Date 4. Type of Case (personal injury, criminal, real estate, etc.) 5. Brief Statement of Case Facts 6. Party Offering the Animation 7. Type of Animation (simulation, illustration, tutorial, etc.) 8. Animation Admitted or Excluded? Date. 9. Who Comissioned the Animation? (attorney, expert, etc.) 10. Comissioner's Firm, Contact Name, Contact Method (phone #, e-mail, etc.) 11. Amount Invested in the Animation 12. Animation Firm, Animator's Name(s), Contact Method (phone #, e-mail, etc.) 13. Animation Software Used (including primary 3rd party applications) 14. Brief Description of Animation, Including its Intended Purpose Thank you very much for your assistance. We'll let everyone know when the first version of the list is uploaded.
