No, no mention at all. 🙂
(I don't want OS/2 on the "new" Amiga if it ever comes, I want something
better.)

Like AmigaDos 3.1?

It's actually a tough shoot between OS/2 Warp and 3.1. 3.1 is much more
responsive most of the time, and actually has more REXX supporting
applications, but OS/2 does have its own REXX, and it does offer the ability to
run Windoze apps–awful yes, but sometimes you need them. And OS/2 is a more
robust OS, although most people probably don't need all its robustness. For
some reason my Amiga crashes FAR less often than any OS/2 system I've ever
used–except when I'm running AMosaic. <G>
I like using my Amiga much more than a PC with OS/2, and PC hardware is
horribly kludgy, but let's face it–PCs can be far faster than any Amiga. I
just wish things had turned out differently. And I sure wish some of those
apps were available on the Amiga.

Well, no one is entirely perfect <g>

—————————————-| True.

Me too, but how does it come that people apparently never ask for some of the
typical Amiga apps to become available on the PC?
