GPFax lists the FAX page as 35038 and the IFF version is 46846. Maybe there is a problem with the conversion? I got another FAX sent to me and it is the same FAX – 45904, IFF – 83142 George Morrison Dazed and Confused on the A500

Actually, I'm not in a position to test this at the moment but you could be right after all. IFFs use a compressed format, but it's possible a page-sized IFF could be bigger than the GPFax fax image file, all the same. The IFF is bitmapped; maybe the GPFax fax image is more efficient, as it doesn't need to account for white space in the same fashion.
