I am trying to use amiga programs that I downloaded on my PC on the Amiga at my school. The Amiga has crossdos. I got it to work once but I must have forgotten what I did. What might be the problem. I'm told that my disk isn't a dos disk. What I thought I did was go into Text Conversion for DF0: but when I tried it later it told me that it was not available. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like you do not have PC0: mounted. Try looking in your storage drawer on Workbench, in the devs drwer. Double click on PC0: Zeddock Miller

You must address the drive by its MSDOS name if you want it to read an MSDOS disk. You were permitted to choose that name if you installed CrossDOS yourself, but if it came with 2.1, it was probably given the name PC0: Try telling your Amiga to read the disk using PC0: instead of DF0: and see if it doesn't work.
