Hi Kyle A quick question to the MetaMan.. 😉 If I have a big bodied creature, would it be better to make a "skin of spheres? ie. to make my shape with a lot of little balls that together, make the shape I'm trying to get, but these balls just "coat" the insisde of the creature's skin, leaving the inside hollow? I hope I'm making myself clear ( I haven't had much sleep in past few days, so if this doesn't make sense, please let me know ) Thanks David

Hiya David, <<If I have a big bodied creature>> you do, eh? ooooooooh! I wish I had one! <g> What you need to do is create some 'filler balls' that will take up space inside you mesh. This will get rid of those inside polygons and bring your face count down to about 1/2 what it is now. If you can't tell if you've got any internal polygons, render the mesh with a transparent material (2-sideded). Or, flip the objects normals and take a look at it in Optimize (that way if you've got an area of inside polygons, their normals will be facing out and you will be able to pick 'em out real easy-like. <<I hope I'm making myself clear>> crystal. 🙂 -Kyle
