I used a fast video card 1 month ago , it was fast movie machine pro with the mpeg modul. The problem was to get an animation created with 3dstudio down to video tape , so i loaded the flc into adobe premiere to create avi and after that i recorded this avi via video out to a videorecorder. The quality can be used for simple demonstration, but not for professionell intentions. I hope thats it what you want to know Bastian Interdimension Computergraphics Germany

Hi, PMJH, You didn't say whether you were using Premiere 4. I have used ver. 4 to take a numbered targa series and convert it directly to an .avi. If the fast video card is fast enough to take this out to tape at full speed then this would allow you to skip the .flc stage and stay in full 24 bit color all the way to video tape. That ought to improve quality considerably. \ Best Jon Burleson
