You didn't say whether you were using Premiere 4. I have used ver. 4 to take a
numbered targa series and convert it directly to an .avi. If the fast video
card is fast enough to take this out to tape at full speed then this would
allow you to skip the .flc stage and stay in full 24 bit color all the way to
video tape. That ought to improve quality considerably. \
