Use SNAPSHOT instead. Snapshot will save an object as it appears on a particular Stage editor frame. This means size, alignment, and position will be saved (along with any FX in progress, such as Explode). The saved object can be loaded into Detail for further editing, or to serve as a guide for other objects. Note: This means that any FX can be used as a modelling tool. Way cool. Blaq!

Like I said I do most of my renderings in the detail editor unless I'm playing with an animation which I don't do often. I'm pretty confident in my modeling capabilities now, so I just have to get my texturing down (3.3 should help with that) and then I'll dive head first into the stage editor and animation. At my current rate I should be trying some fairly complex animations by early next year (I hope). -Sam J. Bowling
