I can honestly say I have programmed in basic probably abt a week in my
entire life…I cut my teeth on 6502 assy and forth….Then I learned C
and remembered why I quit bit-banging, so I moved up to the 80's with
Pascal and finally M2…I also teach a summer camp class in logo, we tried
basic but those kids ended up institutionalized. They kept trying to got
here and goto there and finially somthing cracked and the whole bunch
started babbling incoherently. It was ghastly….hank….
oh yea before I go all the SERIOUS micr programmers were riding the wave
in fast lane with Assy code!!!
sigh. respond to one before reading the next..Henry, Logo is a great program
language to teach children about computers and the beginnings of programming
As to replacing Basic with Logo as a Packaged language. No.
