Has anyone here gotten through Rogue yet? Am on Level 20, and need to know the
best way to combat griffins and medusas. The strength level is 17, the hit
points are at 61, and I still keep getting killed by these things within four
moves or less! It's starting to get frustrating, to say the least. Aromor is a
+0 plate mail (class 7), and weapon is a +2,+2 mace that wipes everything save
Griffins, trolls, Phantoms, Medusas, and Venus Flytraps out with one or two
blows. All others can kill with ease..just need HELP on the best way to get
rid of Medusas and Griffins. Can stop them temporarily with potions of
confusion and/or paralysis..then must be CAREFUL NOT to touch or hit any
paralyzed/confused beastie..otherwise it maked a beeline and toasts me.
