All,
Excellence has a line rcognition bug, after changing fonts in
documents the first line prints and then there appears to be an extra 1/16"
gap in the space between it and the second printed line. The following lines
appear to be correctly spaced. This bug is major cosmetic problem and
prevents the serious use of the program for any DTP application.
Their appears to be no problems when using it as a WP though, (But
what the h**l, if I neede one of those I could use WP).

Do you _own_ this thing, in the flesh, with manual and actual magnetic
domains appropriately arranged on a disk that you _bought_ ??? –Ben–
YES !!! to all ….believe it or not !!…am not sure that what I bought was
what really was advertised !!…

plus you MUST, I reiterate MUST use a hard disk drive..

I presume this means you got the package. Was it complete or was it
still a beta version?

this is the real bird Don, no beta notes…plus it appears to be
totally implemented….definately NOT a word processor but maybe REALLY a
desktop publish prog…(looks like a damn Apple program or port (???) oh
well, they even sent me a COMPLIMENTARY (hoho) copy of Sideways (which I
already owned and payed for…wish they had asked me before hand)….program
is too large…and must use hard disk drive or have at least 3 floppy drives
working..they butchered WB 1.3 that was sent along but did include new
drivers and did implement Postcript devices (they really do work, by the
way.)

Ok….then to be honest, I guess I have to ask was it worth the wait?

Compare it to WordPerfect. For those of us who need word processors, and
like word processors, it doesn't come close to WordPerfect is what you're
saying?
