Is it possible to find someone with a MAC that is willing to accomadate you?

Haven't been able to yet, but am actively looking. I take it you now of no program to make the transfer on the amiga. Sort of like the PCcopy and PCFormat utilities. >>Steve.

I know of no such utility Steve. The majro problem is the MAC's variable speed drives.

I know of one person who has written a program that will allow the Amiga to read part of a Mac disk. The Mac disk drives are variable speed, and actually run at 5 different speeds depending what track the head is on. His software will read 2 of the 5 speeds. Since he couldn't get it to work on the faster speeds I don't know what he's going to do with the program (forget it as a lost cause, release it PD, keep working on it, etc.)

That appears to be impractical, as the Mac changes the speed of the disk drive to keep the bit density constant……so far only Macs write Mac floppies.
