Just a fast way to grab a spot with your address already here. I was
offered an early DX-7 in apparently perfect working order for on the order of
US$800. Is this a good deal??
If it's clean, and really is in working order (not just "apparently"), then
that sounds like a good deal. The DX7 has been replaced by some new models,
but the basic structure is sound (no pun intended), so you're not really
buying old technology. I'm planning on hanging on to my DX7 for quite a
while.
