Yes, smoothing is discussed in the manual. It is in the section on printing
(in the "Using ProWrite" chapter).
Most people don't know about the smoothing option since it is new with
the WB 1.3 drivers, and you need to both have a high resolution printer (like
an 18 or 24 pin dot matrix) _and_ set the print density (in Preferences ) to
a high enough value to enable the smoothing option. Different print density
settings are discussed in the ProWrite Manual's appendix on printers.
