I'm interested in teaching my 11- and 13-year-olds to program in Pascal. I
took a class in Pascal last summer, and the textbook we used was terrible.
Can anyone recommend a good one? It doesn't have to be for children, I can
adapt it. But I'd rather not set up my own curriculum. Or however you spell
that. Also–getting the horse back in front of the cart–which is the best
Pascal to buy for the Amiga? I took my class on a mainframe at the college.
I am familiar with IBM turbo Pascal, so something a little like Turbo would
be eaiser for me. But I'm adaptable. I'd like it to be able to handle
graphics, since my son wants to do games. And speech, since my daughter wants
her programs to talk.
Sincerely, Tan
