Karl, maybe you just got a bad download? (I uploaded it.) No one else
seems to have had any problem unarcing ShoWiz. ShoWiz should be great for
whatever demo you're setting up. Here's a tip not included in the docs: The
only suggestion Jeff didn't have time to put in this version was support for
color cycling. (He says he's working on it.) But a simple workaround for now
is to just use SuperView to show the picture(s) that you want to color cycle.
With ShoWiz's scripts, you can just have one line of the script give the
command "SuperView [pic.name]". -Joel

OK, maybe was a bad DL. I'll try it again. I had fun even with ShowizJr,
but need the scripting. I wish there was a way to show all pics in a directory
using all the various wipes EXCEPT those entered on the command line when
invoking Showiz. Jeff's a wizard at this, but frankly, I can't imagine why
you'd want to show a pic for a second and then zoom into the center of it for
longer, or, put up a picture upside-down and then right it. I appreciate all
the interesting wipes available, but when you do the "auto" option, you have no
choice but to accept the "silly" ones whenever they show up. Still, a neat
program; I can hardly wait to play with the new one.

I used the one that enlarges the center of the slide to good advantage. I had
a series of slide which said out company does more x, more y, more z, than
_any_ competitor. The last slide was "than _any_ competitor" in 77 point type.
Showiz showed the slide, and then brought up "_any_" full screen (since it was
in the middle) to emphasize the point.

You may want to repeat that message to Joel to make sure he sees it; you
replied to mine message by mistake.
(I KNEW there must be a use for that wipe!)
