It took me 4 full days to figure out the strucure of the WP
PRT files. (WP will provide no information on them to developers!) And yes, you
can patch into existing WP Printer.PRT and Font.PRT files, but it is a pain in
the A__. First you need to figure out their structure and then move your data
into their files (which means overlaying data into the middle of the file and
chamnging two sets of pointers), believe me, it is easier to simply use MAkeWP
(the LazerXpress version) to add the desired fonts to the old Font.PRT file and
then type in the Printer driver into the old printer.prt file using printdef.
Just what kind of problems are you having with spacing on the WP
drivers with our fonts, send me some sample out put and I'll tell you what to
do….
