I can mount RAD: under 1.3 using either the MiniMegs or InsiderII. My RAD: device is 523K (50 cylinders), nuff for a streamlined WorkBench. My current work around is to set the switch on the InsiderII so it does not autoconfigure, then call addmem after RAD: is created. The difference is now, InsiderII is at $800000 versus $C00000. I don't know the difference between these memory ranges so I'm not sure I've solved my problem yet. As is, everything is working. Thanks Richard and Dale.

David, The only real difference between $C00000 and $800000 for the Insider is that the memory will not autoconfigure at $800000. I don't know of any other reason why RAD: won't work. I know it is very touchy about memory configurations and sometimes works better if mounted later in the startup-sequence. It's also very important to make sure you have the correct RAD: device drivers for the OS you are using. Other than that, I am at a loss as to what is wrong. Dean DKB Software
