Anthony, Some program is flipping the Clock test bit. You need to use either the 1.2 SetClock or else the 1.32 Setclock. The one that came with 1.3 does not work properly. Then, do a SETCLOCK RESET and save it. That will flip the bit back so the AMiga can find it. ……Betty

Betty, I uploaded a small program in the AmigaArts Utilities section that will fix the problem with the battery backed clock. Lee 😉 // \X/ Lee Scoggins – "Too bad life doesn't come with instructions!"

Lee, I saw your program. I do wonder, though, why it would be necessary, when SETCLOCK RESET does the same thing, and is available on everyone's Workbench. How does your program differ, and why is it better? ……Betty

Betty, I have never had occasion to use this program. But, I have been told that SETCLOCK RESET will not alway find the battery backed clock. This program is for those occasions. // \X/ Lee Scoggins – "Too bad life doesn't come with instructions!"
