Rick- I was looking at a capt file and noticed the following sentence: " But that does not necessarily mean that I'm overlooking something obvious, I'm pretty new to this." Boy does that sound arrogant for someone who's asking for advice! Ofcourse it was a typo, I meant to say that I was very LIKELY overlooking someting obvious. No, I'm certainly a novice and I'm extremely grateful for any assistance. By the way, I tried Access and had a problem similar to what I described to you before. Once again, this is GT. I had a problem with it too. Something unrelated (I'm assuming) from the garbage. I was downloading a file of about 120K bytes and at just about 99K, I got a message telling me I had "timed out". I don't know where the message originated, GT or the system. There were no errors indicated. Is there such a circumstance where the system will shut you down that way. I couldn't find any timer options in the GT doc. Boy, I can't afford to go online as it is, I can't have my terminal shutting me down five-sixths of the way through a DL. Thnxagin, Steve
