Does anyone know if there is an Amiga users group in New York City. If there is, I'd like to know their BBS's phone number. After all, one cannot live by CompuServe alone! Thanks…

Amuse, the NYC Amiga users meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm at the School of Visual Arts on 23rd st. in Manhattan. Meetings are pretty good. We get a lot of vendor presentations. We're less strong on technical support for the membership. Our big size makes it difficult. Many video professionals are members and the Toaster SIG is perhaps more active than the main group. Strangely enough, we can never keep a BBS running. Snail mail can be addressed to 151 1st Ave, Box 182, NY NY 10003. — Art

Hello from an old (in both senses of the word!), almost original Amuse member. I now live in North Carolina in the boonies and don't miss NYC, but do miss Amuse. I belong to the Charlotte User's Group, but it's tiny and doesn't quite know what to do with a female in it's midst, so I lurk on these fora and keep up with the Amiga world. – via Coolwhap
