Version 2.21 of MSCDEX.EXE is available on CompuServe in the Microsoft
Software Library (GO MSL). The file name is CDEXT.EXE. If you downloaded
an earlier version of 2.21 from MSL that did not work, be advised the
current one is OK.

P.S. — I have an old Denon DRD-253 CD-ROM drive. Does anyone know where I
can get an updated version of the EXXTX05.SYS driver for this drive?
Windows 3.1 doesn't like the version I have for multimedia applications.

Denon is located in Parsippany, NJ, (201) area code. I don't have the
number handy, so you can call directory assistance, or leave me another
message here, and I'll find one for you. I have the Denon drive too, but I
use another brand of SCSI controller.
