I would like to have a 14" monitor that would:
– Not "shake or shiver" because of the interlaced signal.
– it should work in Windows/AutoCAD/Dos.
for the purpose of output to consumer brand VHS tape. I would like to
make instructional tapes. I have used the windows driver and it works
great. I still have the "shakes" on the screen, because of the interlaced,
and that is my only complaint.

A long-persistence RGB monitor (such as the Mitsubishi FA3425L9 or
HC3905L9) will provide a stable image when in interlaced modes.
Unfortunately, the long-persistence results in a "ghosting' phosphor trail
on the screen during playback of animation. This is not, however, recorded
to videotape. An additional limitation is an appropriate multisync
long-persistence (or short even) monitor is going to cover the range
15-35kHz, which means that 1024×768 resolutions MUST be interlaced (800×600
non-interlaced is tops). One other thing: a long-persistence monitor is
going to be RGB, no NTSC or S-VHS. The monitors that handle video & RGB
are standard to short persistence – some flicker worse than others in
interlaced RGB mode.
