David: You don't need to beta our sound board. Sound Blaster has been around for a couple of years. If you want to synch sound with animation, you have several choices, one of which is our own PC Animate Plus software. It is a 2D animation product, compatible with FLI files and lets you synch Sound Blaster sound to any frame. Steve

Steve, Can you please tell me about how your SB board synchs to a .fli frame? Does it synch to the first frame and then just play along or can you lock particular audio points to particular frames? I need to synch audio to each frame or perhaps every tenth frame. I realize that there is a problem trying to PRECISELY synch audio to fli files because the animation speed will not remain constant while playing on a computer. The only solution I've found is to put the animation on video tape and synch it via video editiing techniques. All the sound boards I've tried claim to be able to synch audio with .fli's but they are only able to synch the start points. I work in forensic animation and I need real, continuous synch. Do you have a solution? Alec Jason

PC Animate Plus lets you synch a VOC file (Sound Blaster digitized audio) to any frame in the animation. If you use a Sound Blaster Pro, then PC Animate Plus also lets you adjust the volume and pan across the channels so you can have a choo-choo train sounding closer and closer and then going from left to right, etc., etc. I don't know if that helps. I hope so. BTW, my ID is changing to 76004,2244 Steve

Steve, I don't think you understand my question. I need to know if you can synch audio to fli files and LOCK the synch throughout the entire fli file. Alec Jason
