Hi! I'm considering purchasing Patchmeister. Could you tell me if it is
known to work with the Proteus MPS and Roland JV-80? How about performance
maps, can it accept them as well as patch/bank data?

I don't know for sure what all PatchMeister supports, except as it relates
to the gear I am using! Since the Proteus line is supported, it would be
relatively simple to support the MPS if it isn't already supported. I also
believe that the JV-80 is supportable if it isn't already supported too.

The Proteus MPS and Roland JV-80 aren't mentioned as being specifically
supported, but, that doesn't mean that it can't be done or isn't in
development.
I don't own PatchMeister, myself, but, possibly Melissa can comment on
whether future support is planned for the synths you mentioned, and your
other questions.

Thanks for the info. The thing is, I'm not that worried about tweaking
existing drivers to get them to work with the MPS and JV-80. I've looked
at the demo of Patchmeister and doesn't appear that it would be that
difficult. But recently I read in this forum that Patchmeister will
absolutely not work with the Kurzweil 2000. I wanted to make sure that
this isn't the case for the other keyboards.

Tha PatchMeister will work with the MPS and JV-80. You'll just have to
create the drivers for them yourselves, or call Blue Ribbon and request
that they create them.
