Take The TBC I board out before you blow your power supply – via Whap!

And another alternative is to call Mark Morales at Creative Consults to get some information about a 200W board replacement for your 3000. Call (201) 614-0878. I just had this done myself but it appears the recent, but ever growing, problem I'm having with my Toaster is due to the Toaster. Since installing the Toaster, my system has shut down occassionally. It got gradually worse so that now, about two hours go by and the system shuts down. I take the Toaster out and all is fine. I haven't tried this Toaster in another machine but I have installed another test Toaster and the system ran great for 2 to 3 hours. I will note that none of the other 3000 friends of mine with Toasters have any problems at all, even with their stock power supplies (but they only have the Toaster installed). Both Mark and someone at Micro R&D (forget who) spoke of success stories of people using the 200W replacements in their 3000s for a wide varity of uses which demand more power, not just Toaster applications. Give Mark a call or leave him e-mail (Mark J. Morales 72307,2503). He's been most helpful. Dan McCoy – via Whap! and saving money doing it too!
