Hi, I just got some mail from John Heaton and he says he knows of the memory leak in v2.9. He says its in the FTWindow routine which checks the clock every second. It appears to use up 1024k per second (minute?). John's checking the routine out and hopes to have it fixed soon. John also mentioned that he's added the .lzw compression to SMTP. Steve

Steve, Hope John can squash that memory-munching bug soon. Thanks for the update. Darron – via Whap!

Where do you get AmigaNOS from Bill. I sometimes get it from uscd off the Internet but recently found v2.9 on a telephone BBS. Steve

I'm doing the same thing. I tried the bitnet ftp server to find out that it doesn't support ftp's unless there connected to the same net. Steve
