What's happend to Byte-by-Byte? At one time Sculpt-4D was among the leaders in ray tracing and rendering. There has not been an update from them in years (not even to fix 2.0 incompatabilities). Does anyone know when (if?) BbB will add new effects & textures or repair bugs (like the coordinate requester fields)? Brian, navigating on //| //| \X/||miga \X/||utoPilot

I doubt we'll see any new Amiga things from BbB. They've gone to the Mac market. Steve

Byte by Byte is now apparently selling exclusively to the Mac market, and the higher end of the market at that… At the prices they're apparently charging for their stuff, they wouldn't sell much into the Amiga market. (You could get a Toaster, with Lightwave 3D, and still have change left over… <grin>) –>Steve Bennett

:yte by Byte got out of the Amiga market as they complained that they were too victimized by piracy. The proram and the Jr. version is still sellin gand I believe they still support and upggrade a Mac or PC version of the software. About the closest thing to a "Son of Sculpt" is Real 3D 2.0. wmc – via Autopilot!
