Does anybody know how to convert PostScript fonts to bitmap fonts? I've been trying mkbmap with the post program and cant get it to work. (until I can afford toaster 3.0)

Get TypeSmith from Softlogic. You can import Postscript fonts and then save them back out as Compugraphic outline fonts. Then (if you have Workbench 2.x) use Fountain to add the font and create the Amiga bitmap font. After that, NewTek's 'toastfont' utility will create a toasterfont for you. Remember that 'toastfont' will halve the Amiga font. So if you want an 80 point font, create a 160. I've had some problems with Fountain crashing on large fonts. It seems to work ok up to 128 point… perhaps I need more RAM. 🙂
