Ric,
The secretary of our Amiga user group uses Pen Pal (1.2) to maintain the
club's membership records. As it crashes under Workbench 2, he attempted
to update it through the Australian distributor. Unfortunately, he was
told that the program is no longer supported. We thought that was that and
he has kept running Workbench 1.3 just to run Pen Pal.
Recently, I saw a letter which said there is a version 1.4 of Pen Pal
which runs under Wb 2. Is this correct and can he obtain an upgrade by
writing directly to Softwood in the USA?

I have Pen Pal, hardly use it, but I have it. Version 1.3.18 works
fine under WB2.04 for me. I believe that Final Copy II has brought back
the functions you wish to use from Pen Pal. Although I have never tried
to convert any of the old databases. Hope Ric can tell you better….
