Recently I've started fiddling with Povray. In the past I've been
devoted to Autocad with Ashade/Renderman, but Povray's quality & ease of use
could make a believer out of me. Does anybody know if Autocad (vers.10) can be
used as the front end program to generate objects for Povray?
Thanks, Eldon
Rocca.

YOu can DXFout your files and convert them to POV-Ray with DXF2POV but they
will be raw triangle data ( I think) which is slower, takes alot of space but
it would be useful for odd shapes (meshes etc..) . check out PV3D if you want a
front endprogram for pov (its the most complete I've found but still kinda
buggy)
