Yes, there are definite restrictions on PhoneDiscs' use for mailing lists –
it can't be used for that.
The information providers, Database America, have compiled the #1 business
list in the United States (we believe, anyway), and their business IS
mailing lists. So you can immediately see the conflict if PhoneDisc could
be used for that. One of our competitors does allow downloading of their
data, but it is metered and can be quite expensive. Another of our
compeititors also allows downloading without any fees – but their database
is very old, and very incomplete and I don't believe anybody would want to
use it.
