Peter, PV3dV1.0 is the best wire frame modeler That I have found yet! You any number of things from CSG shapes to animations and so on(it would take too long to list them all). there are a ffew bugs still so you should save constantly and the documentation is dificult to understand ( the author is French) but if you play with it for a while I think you will like it (I cant live with out it). Peter, here is my own opinion of PV3D, and remember, this is olny MY opinion. bleck! just for your own reference, you might want to try out POVCAD 1.0b for windows. if it's not in the lib here, it's on "you can call me ray" I think that's where I picked it up. If it's a BBS System, please forget it. I'm living in Austria and direct BBS in USA is tooooooooo expensive!! Tnx, Psi. There is 1 Reply. Read action !

Peter, in your recent e-mail with Loyd L Towe, he mentioned POVCAD 1.0. I recently uploaded POVCAD20.ZIP to CI$, so you might want to look for that one. Alfonso There is 1 Reply. Read action !

Hi, >Peter, in your recent e-mail with Loyd L Towe, he mentioned POVCAD 1.0. >I recently uploaded POVCAD20.ZIP to CI$, so you might want to look for >that one. tnx, I've found it. But the name ist POVCAD.ZIP not POVCAD20.ZIP! remember CIS allowes only 6 character long names for files. PSi There is 1 Reply. Read action !

>Where is the POVCAD.zip or POVCAD20.zip file located? I can't seem to find it an >it anywhere on CIS. Please help if you can… It's in the RAYTRACE SOURCES directory. There are 2 versions, select the 2.0 one. I just finsihed the DOS graphics version today. I'll be doing some additional testing and should be posted here very soon. It has the same functionality. Alfonso, This is great news! can't wait to try it out. I have tried out the windows version a bit and I have a couple of feature requests. Drag and Drop on the x-y, y-z, and the x-z views layering (nothing large, maybe 8 – 10) both these don't seem like they would be extremely hard to implement, (yeah thats easy for me to say <g>) Loyd L Towe ps. will be registering soon! Move mouse to new position, click right button. A menu will appear, select appropriate command. Take it from there. >>layering (nothing large, maybe 8 – 10) Later, I'll be adding some features such as selective redrawing of objects and other stuff which I don't want to mention yet. >>both these don't seem like they would be extremely hard to implement, (yeah >>thats easy for me to say <g>) Thanks for the suggestions!
