Joseph, First, do you get the mouse OK with other DOS apps under Windows? Remember, in order for this to work you must load the mouse driver/tsr before running Windows. It is possible to forget this, and you will still get a mouse under Windows since the mouse code for Windows is in Windows itself. If you do get mouse with other DOS apps under Windows, check to be sure they aren't being loaded by a batch file that your PIF runs. If this is the case do the same for the encyclopedia. Some folks set their DOS apps up to run this way, so that the mouse driver/tsr doesn't always have a memory profile, the mouse comes and goes with the dos apps. If all that fails, check for a irq or other conflict between the mouse and encyclopedia. Remember, Toolworks has that goofy driver that is used for their full-motion video and it uses interrupts…..
