Bob,
You did not get bad disks. If you had, you would have gotten an error
message while installing the disks.
Somehow, between Final Copy II Release 1 and Final Copy II Release 2
the fonts were moved to a different drawer. I would choose "Select" and
find the font. When you've found all of them for a particular document,
be sure to save that document (whether you make any changes or not). This
way, you'll ensure that it can find those fonts the next time the document
loads.
By the way, we at SoftWood always update our Final Copy II's using the
install program. If the font problem had existed for us, we would have
fixed it before releasing the new version. There is no known problem with
the font system at present.
