Reese Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me if CD Speedway will work happily with PCKWIK. I have been using this product for some time and it works well with the fixed disk and floppy drives. Also how much ram does the driver require Thanks for your help Regards Allan

Speedway will work very well with PCKWIK. If you look in the LIB 1 or 4 (I'm not sure where its at) there is a configuration write up on Speedway which discusses using it with hard disk caches. Try browsing on the KEY: Speedway. The driver requires 19K, but will shrink or grow depending upon 1) making sure you have a minimum of 530K to run applications and 2) whether you are using the defaults for number of files and buffers. (Buffers will grow the driver 2K per buffer, but can increase the performance of the reads from the cache. Files will increase the size differently depending upon whether you are caching to hard disk or RAM. If you are using RAM be sure you specify the amount of files to be the same in RAMdrive as for Speedway. Hope this helps. If you need info. that the writeup can't provide, let me know. There are also some benchmark results also posted in LIB 1. Reese.
