I suggest you try a product called Norton SpeedCache + This product
does a good job of speeding up CD-ROM access and will use the hard
drive if requested. Remember the CD-ROM is likely to contain a lot
more data that your hard drive can hold, caching can help a lot, but
the best solution is a faster CD-ROM drive.
