Will be getting a pioneer qd-604S multichanger soon. Have two choices for scsi connection: 1. Ultrastor 14F (alreadying running maxtor PS1-17 harddrive and Wangtek DAT backup) 2. SCSI port on PAS-16 card. Using acer 1100/33 (with 387), Award 3.03e2 bios, DOS 5.0, qemm 6.02, PKwick, ati wonderxl svga + graphics ultra 8415A (pass through = 2 cards). Some use of win 3.1, thinking of installing os/2 when have time and latest US driver. Apps: some multimedia (a bit in DOS, a bit in Win 3.1) but still mainly use Desqview or commandline (speed and habit); Wp 5.1 (5.2 for win), grnadview, corel 2.1 (will be upgrading soon), harvard graphics, SPSS/PC+, starting SPSS/win (larger datasets allowed), BMDP, Systat, games/educational sutff, comm (PC+, tapcis, and, pcAnywhere to access work WAN), quicken, ttax (would love not to have to use this <g>), and cdrom programs: msbookshelp, lib of future, sci am med, ms developers pak, groliers encyclopedia [mm for dos]), also DAK's persnickity DS launcher programs. Thoughts, suggestions, good or bad experiences? Which mscdex.exe would be best? Who are the right people/BBS's to talk to? –ed
