Howdy Erik, recieved yer rate card today. Very nice. As you guessed in
your letter YES I purchased the Color Trifold paper from a company I did
not print the Color myself.
It's called "Symposium" and is item # BM6011 from Paper Direct at
800-A-PAPERS
It comes in 100 Sheet Boxes for approx $18 If I remember correctly.
Give them a call and ask for their Catalog, lotsa nice stuff including
Card Stock for Business Cards as well as a few different types of Trifold
and Quad fold paper styles as well as matching envelopes and more.
Thier prices are a bit higher than others but I still use Paper
Direct simply because of their Selection and Service.
Thanks. The rate cards came out pretty nice. (Even if I did have to
use a Mac to get good color seperations. ProPage from Gold Disk just
couldn't cut the mustard.)
I'll have to give that paper company a call. I'm always looking for a
cheap way to improve the appearance of my business. (How'd the
holographic stamp on the envelope look after the long, cross-country
journey?)

By all means call paper Direct, they've got a TON of stuff for
DTPer's. They even have that Laser Foil for adding Color to yer
Output. Requires a Laser printer since it is tranferred via HEAT.
Yeah, the USPS sells those envelopes for 34 cents/ea (only 5cents
more than a plain stamp would cost). I can't find my catalog, but I
buy them mail-order from the US Philatelic Sales Division. I first
saw them for sale at a local post office a few years back, but they
eventually ran out. If your local post office doesn't have them,
they'll have the stamp catalog that you can use to order it direct.
I've used that Laser Foil before. It's really neat, but I'm going to
be getting a DeskJet550C when I upgrade from my current dot matrix,
so the Laser Foil won't do me any good.

there about those Pre Postaged Holo Stamped Envlopes.

BTW before I forget. Do you know of a Good source of Dinosaur Models?
Besides Antic's old Dinosaur Design Disk and Of Course ruling out
Viewpoint's Mega Buck models. Thanx
Short of the Antic disk, I can't think of any other dino objects . . .

Viewpoint Animation Engineering is a great place to check for objects. They
produce the REEEALY high end things you see in commercials and movies every
day. They aren't cheap (average $200-500), but they are GREAT objects. You can
call them at 1-800-DATASET and they'll send you HUGE catalog. David Hopkins

I have to thank you for a tip… dropped by the post office today at lunch
and asked if they had any of those holos… they had 8 left, can't order
any more… I got em all. :^) They are pretty; they're also interesting
and in their own tiny way, a signpost of science and commercialization of
science.
I'll be keeping these forever.

Hmmmm, I've seen 'em for years, and I just got another 30 via mail from
the US Philatelic service last month . . . .
Maybe I should order some more before they're all gone. :^(
