I seem to have a problem getting an object 7 meters long and 1 meter high to be position in proper view of the camera when I've loaded a scene I've created using stars and planets. The object is too far away and when I adjust my grid I still seem to have a problem getting it close enough so you can see the planets in the background and the object in the forground. I need some tips. Plus, sometimes in layout when going back an forth to adjust the grid size my system seems to freeze up, or is it just making calculations? WRA

You might try loading just the small object first. Position the camera and create a key frame. Then load the starfield and planets. That works for me when I do scenes with widly varying object sizes. Jim

Thanks Jim for the help. If you have any tips in the future please send them to me. I find that I have to do alot of things around the studio and my partner is just as busy so we could use fast any easy tips from time to time. WRA
