Germany
Thanks.
Dietmar
Congratulations Michele!
We're going for a copy!
Nik
Michele! Can't wait, but I want to make sure I understand:
Checks drawn from US banks in US currency are acceptable? And the address
break-down is: Echo Magazines
47 Jasmine Crescent
Shailer Park
QLD 4128
Australia –right?
Dave
Address breakdown is fine. Usually we put "Shailer Park QLD 4128" all on one
line but either way it will get here. In Australia the Post Office requests
that you do NOT use punctuation, so there is no comma between the town (Shailer
Park) and the state (QLD).
Bank checks or regular checks are fine, but bank checks will make the book
arrive faster. For regular checks, the distributor (Echo Magazines) may, at
their discretion, wait until the check has cleared to send off the book, which
can take 2-3 weeks. So you are better off with a Bank Check, unless you are a
big name company and we know you have coffers full of the green stuff. <g>
Thanks for pointing this out, by the way. I will amend the announcement to
include this information.
Michele
I'm new on this forum, and missed the what, where, when, and why of the
3ds book. I'm interested.

Here's the official message on the book.

So you live in the state of QLD, eh? That sounds like it belongs in the
Timothy Leary thread <g>.
Well, I'll see which way our bookkeeper gripes about the least, and do it that
way — just tell your Echo magazine pals that all your CIS friends are
_completely_ trustworthy!
[Okay, that's a check to Michele for the book, a check to Greg for the
newsletter, and one for the Sun IPAS, and …. Yikes!]
Dave
Hello Michele. Do you take American Express or VISA (I hope you haven't already
answered this too many times…<g> ). Also, I would like to know a phone
number. I'd really like to see your book. Thanks, Dwayne
Michele:
Glad you are in print! For everyone out there, these books are _great_ for
both the beginner and advanced user of 3DS!
I had the pleasure of being the technical editor for the book, and I learned
quite a bit from reading it myself! It is very well written, easy to
understand, and has a wealth of information.
(And no, I'm not getting paid or getting royalties for this! I'm saying it
because I mean it!)
Greg Pyros
Great news to see that you're done! I can't WAIT to see it… (hint hint)
