I am planning to purchase a new PC that I will use with Windows and Animator Pro. I want to have fast graphics and lots of colors. Any recomendation of graphic cards good for both Windows and animator?

Ed, I've heard good stuff about the Hercules Graphite VLB (local bus) as far as being fast in both Windows and Dos applications.

Forum members seem to have had the following opinions on "fast graphics": ATI and Diamond make great hardware, but are plagued in early releases with flakey drivers. Also, ATI and Diamond can be hard to get hold of. The video cards based on the VESA Local Bus spec, with Weitek P9000 chips are fast (although one person reported the P9000 cards did not test very well in a magazine review). The ET4000 W32 chip set is the basis for a very fast card. Finally, drivers seem to be key in all this. Several people have reported that drivers have made quite a difference in speed. Nik
