ISO filenames?

No limit of a number of files in a directory and a limit of 65,535 directories including the root directory on the entire disk. David

Actually, the limits under ISO 9660 are: Maximum number of entries (files and subdirectories) in a single directory: 126,322,565 Maximum number of directories on a single disc: 429,496,729 Much more than anyone is likely to need anytime soon. My guess is most ISO reading and writing software would give up long before this point.

How then can you specify a parent directory number (as used in the path table, which is a two byte value) for directory 100,000?
