Have you tried rendering from 3DS on FRAMES, or just on FIELDS? I can't
tell from your message whether or not you've recorded anything succesfully
directly from 3DS yet. Basically, we need more information about what's
going on to help out here.

Rendering to video tape looks good when I render to frames. Only
the fields situation gives me a problem. As for a special switch on the
7750-I haven't come across anything in the manual. Also the render to
frames with vblur.ixp works fine (as recommended I don't use vblur with
render to fields).
Still a puzzle to me but thanks for the suggestions
